PURPOSE:To improve anticorrosion by the cathodic corrosion preventing effect of a brazed sheet without containing any special alloy element by a method wherein the aluminum alloy, excellent in anticorrosion and provided with a noble potential, is used as a perforated profile while the aluminum alloy, restricted in the potential increase as much as possible without spoiling the strength and the brazing property thereof, is used as the core member of the brazed sheet employed for fins. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger, made of brazed aluminum alloy, is consisting of the perforated profile 1 of aluminum alloy, containing 0.3-0.8% of Cu of essential ingredient, containing or not containing 0.05-0.3% of Cr and remaining part substantially consisting of Al and inpurities, and the core member of the brazed sheet 2 constituting the fins of aluminum alloy consisting of 0.2-0.7% of Mn, 0.05-0.3% of Zr of essential ingredient and remaining part consisting substantially of Al and inpurities. The electric potential of the Cu is made nobel without deteriorating the extruding workability and the anticorrosion as a single element. Mn is effective in increasing the strength of the device and restricting grain growth upon brazing. Zr is necessary for the improvement of brazing property.
